The “Community Investment and Inclusion Fund (CIIF) Forum 2024” was successfully held on 10 December 2024 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai, attracting over 300 guests from various sectors. As a flagship biennial event of the CIIF, the forum brought together government officials, professionals from the social welfare sector, and leading academics to exchange insights on the development and promotion of social capital.

One of the event highlights was the keynote speech by Professor Lum Yat-sing, Terry from the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at The University of Hong Kong. His talk, titled “Leveraging Social Capital to Build Community Well-being,” combined theoretical perspectives with practical experiences, offering participants a deeper understanding of how social capital can be effectively applied and nurtured.

The forum also featured an award presentation ceremony to honour outstanding individuals and organisations for their efforts in advancing exemplary CIIF projects, fostering cross-sector partnerships, and contributing to the building of social capital.
